What is The OpenID Directory?
What is The OpenID Directory?
---
The OpenID Directory is an ongoing list of sites that really use OpenID for login or registering, not only talk about it. The only exeptions from this principle we except are in the software category, because these are tools you need to use to get your site enabled for OpenID. The OIDD was created to support the OpenID community, believing that the best way to convince people is to show them what you can already do with this technology. The OIDD website was created and is run by Thomas Huhn of Solution Media, a german technology consultant and business angel. Site owners are free to submit their sites to the appropriate categories. Every site is reviewed before going public on the directory. You can change the settings of your sites description, thumbnail, RSS-feed etc. ever after by logging in with your OpenID. Changed sites will be reviewed again, just to prevent spam and keep the quality of the OIDD high.
